Where Do We Meet?

As the only group in the Delaware Valley affiliated with the Society for Humanistic Judaism, our members come from many areas.  We take turns sharing each other's homes to host celebrations, meetings, and events.

We are equally likely to meet in Cheltenham, Elkins Park, Germantown, Mt. Airy, North Wales, Center City Philadelphia, Swarthmore, or Villanova.

For large events, we sometimes rent space in community buildings.  For example, our Passover seder was held at Curtis Hall in Wyncote in 1999, and at the Yorktown Inn in Elkins Park in 2000.  In both years, our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur observances were held at the Old Abington Schoolhouse, with the generous permission of its owners, Sunrise Assisted & Independent Living of Abington.   We look forward to gathering in this beautiful and spacious building many times in the months and years to come.

If transportation is ever a problem for you, someone should always be available to share a ride to any of our functions or meetings.
