• Affirm that the power to achieve meaningful and ethical lives lies solely within ourselves, through our actions and the actions of others
• Identify with all Jews who—together with Humanistic Jews—are part of the ongoing history, heritage, and culture of the Jewish people
• Say what we believe, and DON'T say things we don't believe
• Create and use an evolving, non-theistic liturgy in our celebration of life-cycle events and Jewish festivals
• Recognize history's lesson to our people: only human beings can protect and affect our world, its future, and each other
• Support the freedom and dignity of every being on our planet
